Information: JW Automarine aided the US Navy's investigation of an aeroplane crash by supplying them with a (T5) 5 tonne totally enclosed lift bag. This bag successfully lifted the remains of the aeroplane's cargo door from 14,000 feet below the water's surface. The recovered object was deemed the most crucial part of the crash investigation. This operation was considered to be the deepest salvage using air lift bags at that time.
