This year, JW Automarine celebrate 40 years in the underwater lifting bag, proof load test bag and buoyancy business. Being part of the multi-million dollar Scholle Corporation brings the financial stability and benefits of a world-wide organization and facilitates investment into new manufacturing technology.

In addition to flexible and underwater lifting products JWA have developed many bespoke products including Water Test Bags, Lifeboat Test Bags, Survival Systems, Helium Gas Bag Storage Systems, Lockheed Submarine PU Ballast Bags, Sub Arctic Drill Stabilising Buoyancy bags, Freeboard Enhancers for Submarine Rescue and lately their SEEBAG designed for Standby Storage Of Mud Cuttings.

Most of these products were designed on a confidential project basis with large clients with specific markets or applications in mind. Production is complemented by their design facility which utilizes a 3-D Solid Works system.

To further develop JW Automarine's services, we are currently adding 50% more workshop space onto its existing manufacturing facility in Fakenham. Work will be completed by June 2012.

JW Automarine recently completed development and manufacture of a PVC Helium Containment bag for storage of 550,000 litres of helium gas for recycling. The bag measured a 20 meters long x 8 meters wide x 4 meters high. It was fitted with 36 over-pressure relief valves and one, 10 inch Diameter inlet. The bag was fully inflated with air for testing purposes.

We have recently received an order for 15 more gas bags. These will range from 1,000 litres to 500,000 litres, this will be JW Automarine's largest gas bag to date.
